From the time Laurel was a little girl, her bedroom floor transformed into a runway for her Barbie fashion shows. Adorned in ever-changing ensembles, she fearlessly snipped, stitched, and bedazzled outfits, crafting unique styles. Her flair for feminine beauty blossomed through the years, all starting with those playful runway days.
Stepping into the world of fashion, Laurel kickstarted her journey in her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. Collaborating with a local boutique, she orchestrated charity fashion spectacles, all while delving into design herself. Determined to gain real-world wisdom before diving into fashion school, Laurel immersed herself in every facet of the industry.
Her path led her to SCAD, the beacon of her dreams. Yet, the story took an international twist when she embarked on a transformative journey to Lacoste, France. Here, she crossed paths with Senior Professor Anthony Miller, who revolutionized her outlook. Falling in love with the picturesque town, she dreams of returning to France, a place forever etched in her heart. Armed with her SCAD degree, Laurel envisions a future that oscillates between nurturing her talents in her chosen design haven and exploring the artistic landscape of French fashion. With doors wide open, she's ready for local designer collaborations and custom creative ventures that may come her way.
