Laurel Elizabeth Wolcott

has been a fashion maven since she was a little girl having fashion shows on her bedroom floor with her Barbies. Constantly changing outfits, cutting them up to get a different look, sticking extra rhinestones on hems, and her affinity for feminine beauty has evolved throughout the years.

Laurel got her first look into the fashion industry by working with a local boutique in her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. From putting on and organizing fashion shows for charity to designing in them, she decided to continue to get the real-world experience she needed before fashion school.

While she was working, she was also researching and familiarizing herself with all of the fashion school options out there. She wanted to find a school that would allow her talents to shine and provide growth opportunities for her fashion dreams. SCAD became the clear choice for her, so she submitted her portfolio and was accepted with a scholarship.

While at SCAD she took an opportunity to study abroad in Lacoste, France. This is where Laurel met her Senior Professor Anthony Miller, and the experience pulled her back up and changed her perspective forever. She fell in love with the small town of Lacoste and it has been a dream of hers to return to France one day because of it. After graduating she plans to return to Lacoste and also tour around France, while actively searching for a design home to further nurture her talents. Keeping her options open she is intent on not losing sight of her more local dream designers, as well like Ulla Johnson.

She also remains open to custom projects and collaborative opportunities.
